NextPVR and HD PVR 2 Issues - No Picture and No Sound on Live TV

Hi Guys.

New to the forum.

Having an issue with my NextPVR and HD PVR 2 setup. I am getting no picture and sound on live TV. I am using the arcsoft decoders and can play other video files with no issue. However, when I switch to Live TV i get a black screen and no audio.

At the bottom on the progress bar, I get a weird number on the left hand side like --35791394.

I think this issue might be a communication issue between the software and HD PVR 2 hardware. When I use the hauppauge software to watch live tv, the HD PVR 2 glows yellow. When using NextPVR it glows white.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached a log if this helps.

Are you sure you choose the correct input (HDMI/Component etc) when you created your channels? If you HDPVR2 isn't lighting up, it makes me think you've selected the wrong inputs.

If you're sure you got the correct inputs, you'll probably need to post your nrecord.log so we can double check what it's trying to use, or for other problems.

Also, does the live tv buffer file in your recording directory grow, or stay at zero bytes?

I will follow up with additional configuration details and upload a nrecord.log when I get home.

As for the buffer file, I will check this also when I get home.

I know this post contains no new information and is probably a wast of board space. However, I just wanted to let you know I received your post and appreciated the quick reply.

Sub... You beautiful man. I would kiss you if you weren't a kiwi. I did have the inputs messed up. Everything works sweet now.

This program is exactly what I have been looking for.

Finally gotten around to donating. Sorry for the delay.

Very happy with the software and hardware support. It is wife friendly, which is one of the huge pluses for me.
