KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE on scanning for channels

Hi,

I've recently installed NextPVR 3.2.9 on a Lenovo Thinkcentre running Windows 8.1 (up to date) 64 Bit.

I've installed the full DirectX Runtime and NextPVR current patches.

I'm using a Kaisser Baas USB dual TV stick (which is working fine on another PC running windows media center on windows 7).

When I attempt to scan for channels from the Settings/Devices/Device Setup menu windows crashes with a BSOD - attached are the log files.

If anybody has any ideas I'd appreciate it!

I saw this message which is not a good sign

2014-08-17 21:17:53.850 [DEBUG][1] No BDA capture filter for this device

So I did a check search and it seems you are not alone on 8.1 http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2110798 They do describe a USB hack (I'd buy a compatible stick)
