Given how long I've been using GB/NPVR, I think this qualifies as a dumb user question - but I've just discovered that (according to the wiki), TV Recordings has an archive feature. I'd like to use this to automatically move finished recordings to the NAS, and so update the database.

I can't find this option anywhere so I would appreciate a steer. Thanks.

I'm not sure you can set it after recording finishes you have select it in the same drop down menu that has play stop etc when you select a recording

You can select different directories when you set the recording up

Create multiple folders in Settings --> Recordings http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...rding#toc4

Select Archive from the list when you click on a recording http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ings#toc20

I use it every day to copy from the server to a NAS ... works flawlessly (just like everything else).

Thanks - that's what I thought. I have two directories set up - one local, one on the NAS - but I don't get an Archive option... This is all using the TV Listings plug-in ofc, not the nPVR native screen.

Edit: yes I do. I incorrectly set the second directory. Problem solved. Sorry to waste your time.
