3.3.8 Vidimport Not Working

I use VIDIMPORT regularly on my downloaded files.
I noticed today that it's no longer working.

A quick look at the log file and I saw something to the effect, "event details may not be null".
There are no event details in the VIDEOS.XML produced by Vidimport.

I believe this just started happening since I upgraded to 3.3.8 ??

My initial post wasn't correct.
There are a few event details in the VIDEOS.XML file;
starttime, endtime, title, subtitle, etc.

With some trial and error I discovered if I add <Events /> to each file description (in videos.xml) the files are then imported to the DB.

Since my post was moved to "add-ons", I assume there won't be any change to the 3.3.8 core to accomodate this error?

I don't know if the fellow who developed Vidimport is still around?
I would gladly modify the code myself if I had it.
Does anyone know who he is?

It's <Event />; singular, not plural.

UPDATE:

I can't explain it yet: need to do a lot more testing, but it looks like it may be working again?

I will post back again later, but for now I don't want anyone to waste their time on this.

It's a bug in this addon utility, not NextPVR itself, which is why I moved it to the "Add-ons (3rd party plugins, utilities and skins)" subforum. It'd really need to be fixed there, rather than me trying to come up with some workaround for the bug in the app itself.

Good to hear it's started working again for you though.
