that wiki page is incorrect or at least incomplete. the standard NPVR channel-up/channel-dn is page-up/page-dn. +/- may work too, but that's not what is commonly used.

I don't see +/- commonly used either based on the Wiki page. I can always make a change to the mappings on my remote for page-up/page-dn

That would probably be best, since you don't need two buttons both mapped to up/dn arrows (selector arrows and channel buttons).

Just posted an updated version that takes care of some minor bugs. I have been having a problem with the player going black on me if I watch a video part way, then close it and reopen it later. It won't open the video, anyone else having this issue? I'm trying to debug it, but it is proving elusive...

DH - First off, thank you for your work on this! I got tired of using my remote with the browser and found this thread from a google search.

Is this method still working for those that are using it? I know the thread is several months old, but hoping to still get it working.

I downloaded the zip file (1.5.2). Unzipped it, and ran the setup exe (installed to default location).

When I first tried, Hulu Queue consistently crashed on start up. Then I upgraded from IE9 to IE11 (including Silverlight) and rebooted.

After a couple partial queue loads and a couple more crashes (I had 30+ items in my queue including some expired), I got my queue loaded. NOTE: It wasn't clear to me whether I needed to already be logged into my queue using IE11, or whether Hulu Queue would prompt me to login. When the queue did load, I had logged into hulu.com separately using IE11 (to check for and remove expired items). Since then, the queue has loaded quickly and without issue.

But now I'm stuck on an issue that I can't seem to figure out. When I select a video, it doesn't play. The huluviewer opens and briefly displays "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid certificate", then "Navigation Canceled" and when I try to refresh using F5, it says there is a certificate problem and suggests I close the window. Right-clicked on the page and selected Properties to get the URL (https://www.hulu.com/stand_alone/<8 digit show ID>?). That URL gives a cert error in IE11, but there is an option to continue (there isn't in the huluviewer). If I do the same URL in IE11 with just http (no https) then it plays fine without any cert warning.

I googled the error and tried a few suggestions/workarounds without any luck.

I have Windows 7 (Ultimate), and .Net Framework 4.5.2.

Anything else I need to do to be able to play the videos in the huluviewer?

Thanks for any help or tips!

No, you have everything you need. I ran into this problem specifically when trying to watch a show that I already was watching earlier. Is that when you are having issues? I think Hulu is creating a cookie or something that tracks what you are watching and it isn't getting disposed properly when my program closes. I have a newer version that I am using personally that I can post when I get home, that may help. No one really expressed much interest, so I haven't been developing it regularly. I'm happy to help troubleshoot once I get the new version to you.

I don't know for sure, but I wasn't able to view any show, whether I had started watching it or not.

If you post a new version, I'll give it a try.

Thank you!

Try this and let me know how it works out and we can go form there. Just replace your executable file.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same behavior with the new exe. I also tried clearing cookies and temp internet files in IE11.

Apparently they changed the web addresses for the shows, so I will need to figure it out and release a new version.
