Updated to 3.4.8 PC clients now freeze when playing live TV on some channels

The patch in this post has the latest version of NShared which is the only file that has been patched so far - as far as I am aware

Reverted back to 3.3.8 yesterday, uninstalled 3.4.8 and cleaned-out the registry and deleted all the leftover files and folders, and this problem still existed. So it looks like it's nothing to do with NPVR.

Will be building a new server over the next few days, old parts, but starting from scatch, so we'll see what happens.

The only change betweeen the previous and new version is that Windows may have had some updates????

I've had this since version 2.x.x (I forget exactly when). Once you've got it, it's very difficult to diagnose. I've no evidence to think this, but I've always wondered is it something to do with firewall settings.

I think these are the only 2 current patches

If you install both you have the latest updates of everything (NPVR)
