My HTPC was running Win8.1x64 using Hauppauge 2210 & WinTV that came bundled with it
Thought I'd try Win10, build 10074. Wanted to setup dual-boot but MS maintained the partition was too small so after many attempts I gave in & let the installer wipe my SSD.
It was recommended I try NextPVR in conjunction with Kodi so I installed them both.
Both tuners are detected by NPVR but scan for channels doesn't find any at all - no matter which options I select. (Digital Free-to-Air)
Figured it may be resolved by going to build 10130 but no difference.
Installed WinTV & it picked up 27!
no idea what to look for in the log file!
Any suggestions?

The .ini files that NextPVR uses to decide which channels to scan may be out of date. Did you scan using "All Countries" & "All Regions"? (I suspect from the log that this is what you did).

Scanning for channels requires the best possible reception. What happens if you remove any splitters from the aerial coax and check that all connections are in good order?

Certainly did, as well as trying Australia in combination with Sunshine Coast or Noosa-Tewantin.

No splitters. Initially had aerial >MagicTV PVR > PCI card. In this config WinTV showed signal strength circa -65 iirc
So just to be certain it wasn't a signal issue, I plugged the aerial directly into the card . . . still no channels detected, but WinTV still does.
