I just upgraded my Nextpvr to the most current version (3.4.8), and in doing so I completely uninstalled the old version before I installed the new one. One of the reasons I did this was to eliminate the old channel lineup so that I could rescan a new one as I have upgraded my antenna and should get more channels than I did. So in the new installation I have zero channels to start, as you would expect. I go to the settings->devices->device setup->scan. All of my devices are listed there, and all seem to be functioning normally. The scan goes through the full range of frequencies from 2-69 and all the channels I expect to show up are found.
Then when it says that the scan is complete, I click the OK button and get this
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
No channels ever get added to the list. I have scanned over and over. I have rebooted. I have reinstalled. I have disabled all other devices. Nothing works.

your database didn't get upgraded, it's missing columns so the channels can't be saved into the database.

exit nextpvr, then run "c:\program files (x86)\npvr\nextpvr.exe -updatedb"
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct
main client: NextPVR 5.0.7 Desktop Client; LG 50UH5500 WebOS 3.0 TV

I am having the same problem, but the "-updatedb" had no effect. Channels show up in the device rescan. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling after deleting the npvr directory in the user directory. Also, I am running on the same machine with MS Media Center.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and we'll take a look.
