Yes there is no scan, load the channel from the EPG guide and is one to one.

As the author of NetworkRecorder I'd prefer you help sub test his beta Ceton support. Once it is working it will be the way to go.

Martin, thanks for the quick reply.
I will be testing the new Ceton trial release this afternoon.
But, as far as loading the channels from the EPG guide, I'm clueless to how that is done.
So far, I was not able to get any EPG, after manually entering channel numbers.
I read MC2XML was a solution to get EPG, but Microsoft made a change and broke that solution, after that it was proposed to use Schedules Direct.
All this stuff is new to me, as I am changing from Media Center to Kodi.

So far , in my quick testing, the native Ceton support is working. I am recording three channels right now. When it scanned, it missed more than 30 SD channels. It found all the HD channels & I never watch SD, so I am not that worried about that. I still have to do more configuration, but wanted to let sub know the good news.

In case anybody else wants to learn from my mistakes, disable the SageDCT service, but leave NetworkRecorder enabled if you don't remove those devices that depend on it. Get a list of the channels you do have in your current setup before scanning, since it will list almost every channel available, even premium ones like HBO or some sports channels that I don't pay for. From the names, it is hard to recognize some shopping channels and others I don't want in the list of more than 700 channels it found. I have only 200+ in my listings usually.

Great. I've made a small tweak which should get those missing channels. Was your channel change time decent?

I hadn't tried Live TV before. When I try now, it says it can't communicate with the recording service. I can then hit Record & start watching the recording without any issues. So, it is able to communicate, just not for live TV. When I have time later, I will do more testing & provide logs, etc.

When you try again, post the logs in the pre-release forum and I'll take a look.
