I waited at least a minute, probably more.

I guess you need to upload the database somewhere.

Since it was working before under Amber and Gotham, I think I will try to uninstall and re-install 1st, just to see if that does it. As I mentioned in my 1st post, I don't know exactly when it stopped working but given that I went to Helix, then Issy, then back to Gotham, it stopped working at some point. And it isn't one of those functions that is a show stopper anyway.
I'll report back after I try the un and re install. By the way, thanks much for your assistance Martin. I really appreciate it. As I watch this forum a lot, I notice that you always try to help others. We are very lucky to have someone like you. ---update 1:15pm US Pacific Time Well, good thing I checked before I did the uninstall. Looks like X-Newa is not in the Kodi repository anymore. Also I couldn't find a zip file on my disk of the version I am running 2.4.0. I found an old 2.11.0 on my disk, but that was all. I will look further.

Success. I could not find a copy of 2.4.0 on my disk but after searching on the web I did found what appears to be the current version 2.4.6.
So I 1st disabled the existing X-newa, then uninstalled it. Then installed the new current version (2.4.6), WA LA! Everything is back to working perfectly. So I guess we don't really know what was wrong, but it is working perfectly now and just like it used to. Thanks again Martin for your help and this great utility. |
