Could this be because I'm still running XP? (WinXP-Pro SP3, 32-bit)
Maybe I need a newer .NET? (I think I have them all).

I think it may have been compiled as x64. The one I just put up (same 1.1.1) is 32bit.

Fixed. Also, it is actually called npvrconflicts.exe.config (but formatted as XML).

I'm getting this error message with NextPVR 3.6.6:


Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'NUtility, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
at NPVRConflicts.Program.CheckForConflicts()
at NPVRConflicts.Program.Main(String[] args)

Another thread said that SMTP authentication was required, my SMTP does
not require this. Can this requirement be bypassed? Would this have
caused the above message?

...putting the .exe and .config in your Program Files\NPVR directory.

You're right, I mistakenly used C:\Users\Public\NPVR rather than C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR.
After moving the .exe and .config to the correct directory it now works perfectly!
