Still missing many, many recordings. I'm at a loss.

Some days, every recording works right, no problems. Other days, like today, 80% of my recordings fail.

"No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal."

It would appear that the recording service believes the recording is proceeding, until it finishes, then it makes the above claim.

These failed today.... Charlie Rose on 1003, Shepard Smith on 1214, The Five on 1214, Joseph Rosendo's on 616, Bret Baier on 1214, and more.

There was another one other having problems with the Ceton device, due to his device returning slightly different values than the others I'd tested with in 3.5.7. After spending nearly two days remotely looking at his machine I did get to bottom of it, and have fixed for the next release. It's possible you're seeing the same thing he was.

Does 3.6.1 pre-release have the fix already, or should I wait?

You shouldn't able to see that release. Can you PM me an let me know where you saw that?

Ah, I think I see what happened. It looks like you and 3 other users I had to manually activate accounts for recently ended up in a nonstandard account, where you could view the pre-release forum. Hopefully it's not visible any more?

Sorry, sub, I wasn't aware that i shouldn't have looked at pre-release stuff.

So, then where do I go to attempt a correction for 3.5.7? As I said, 80% of my recordings fail (sometimes).

Is my only option to re-install WMC, if there's no other option? Please advise.

It's bad timing because I've started the 3.6.x pre-release testing now, so I'm not in a position to make patches for 3.5.x any more. If it'd been a few weeks ago I could have given you a patch.

I'll PM you a link to an updated build to try, but you can't post any questions about it here. You'll just have to PM me any feedback.
