NextPVR (kodi) and the HDPVR2 for HDMI in Sat feed.

Anyone using this setup ??

I have an encrypted Satellite box whose outputs are composite or HDMI. I would like to get the live TV feed working on my Kodi network from the HDMI with pass through for WAF.

To complicate matters my Kodi network is android nodes. And I dont want to go back to full HTPC in the living room where the sat box lives.

Many of these boxes have HDCP on their HDMI outputs, which the HDPVR2 doesn't like. If you can get past that, the next bit of fun is getting NextPVR to control the box with an IR blaster.
