Sub,
Will 3.6 be so "different" that it will be like learning a totally new program or will the "changes" sort of blend in with the configuration we already have?

It'll be pretty much the same as 3.5.7 with a few bug fixes, and a few additional improvements. No big changes.

NPVR never really changes all that much from release to release... it just evolves slowly. Even if you went back and installed the very first public release, v1.5.19 (the version numbers continued on from the old GB-PVR program which ended at v1.4.7, even though the two programs are not directly related), you'd see a fairly familiar program. Lots of stuff would be missing, the UI appearance would be different and there'd be lots of bugs, but it'd still feel like the same program.

you're new here, you missed the fun stuff like this: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post417920. Yes, that's 50 different times sub posted an updated .exe or .dll to correct a bug or add a small feature between releases. I think 2.2.6 had the most 'patches', but most releases back then had over 30. these days there are so few that I've stopped listing them.

Thanks, Sub.
.
Johnsonx42,
That looks like it would have been real "fun" back then. Sure happy we have a great program at this time and getting better.
