Hi

Completly new to the world of PVR and im having some problems getting up and running with "unable to start device" while trying to scan for channels.

Im using windows server 2012 R2, and a DVBSky S952 V3 DVB-S card.

I think ive done everything mentioned in the sticky thread, so any help with this problem appreciated!

Logs are attached

If you try starting NextPVR.exe with 'run as administrator' does it help? If so, after that does it start working without having to do that?

Do you need to install BDA support? This random link might be relevant but I have no idea if its reliable ... https://knowledge.zomers.eu/dvblogic/Pag...-2012.aspx

It sounds like those BDA components are not installed correctly. There is missing components that would normally be present on Windows.

Boom! You were right, turned out the computer I pulled the bda drivers off, even though the locale setting was en-GB, all the drivers were in en-US. Redone it and now no more unable to start device.

Thanks lads!
