NextPVR is my OTA DVR. 
Your setup is excellent!!!  
I used this zap2it successfully in the Chicago area and would like to add the below.  The only difference is that I used the default setting for all the channel mapping, and only updated those that the NextPVR tv guide did not find in the normal build of the EPG.
WYCCDT which is the MHz 20.1 and and channel 56.2 NHK was the other channel that I now get the tv show name on the NEXTPVR guide.
my UpdateEPG.bat looks like this and modified how the 2 channel selects work:

Then in windows "Task Scheduler", created a basic task to run this batch file daily.

This is what I was looking for to update the TV guide less often than daily. I don't use my HTPC like I used to and having it turn on everyday just to update the TV guide seemed inefficient to me. Maybe I'm over thinking it...

New user, reading as fast as I can, so this could easily be user error.

I'm doing all of the steps to create the Epg.xml file on another pc that feeds the guide directly into wmc and ReplayTV systems. It then copies the xml file to a network share. I tried pointing NextPVR to the shared file using every syntax i could think of (\\server\... ;MapLetter:\...). Couldn't seem to get it to accept the guide xml until i copied it local into the nextPVR scripts folder.  Not sure if the specific folder was necessary or just being local or just user error.

This specific issue isn't that important and can certainly be worked around. More interested in knowing if this is a consistent/common restriction within the system (recording drive, other system files) restricted from network drives.

This isn't a zap2it question as much as understanding of shares and NextPVR. By default the server runs as a different user so drive mapping won't work. UNC style could work if there is no security but there are potential Windows with multiple user accounts not able to access the same share.

I suggest changing the user name in the "NextPVR Service" to your username and using the UNC. If it still fails upload your zipped logs.

Just got zap2xml working on a windows 11 PC, NPVR 6.1.5.231022. The very first post is for an older version of NPVR. The current location for updateepg.bat is C:\Users\Public\NPVR-Data\scripts (not C:\Users\Public\NPVR\scripts). The WIKI is clear about that. Updateepg.bat has to be there for NPVR to execute the batch file.
