unhandled exception when trying to read media folders

I have npvr reading music, pictures and videos from an external hard drive. This is a new install on Windows 10. And I'm getting unhandled exception errors when accessing music and pictures but not videos. Even though all three folders are on the same drive.

I can't see any error message shown in those logs. What does the error message say?

Can you click the 'details' button, and copy the exception text?

It's sounding awefully like something you've done with file permissions on one or more of these directories though, rather than a bug in NextPVR (even though I'd like it to handle this more gracefully)

Nothing in the log, doesn't appear you tried to access anything.

I suspect it's security at the directory level though. Right-click the folder D:\Musiclibrary, select properties, then Security. Make sure "Everyone" has access to it. You might also take a look in the Event Log (eventvwr) to see if the application or security logs give you any additional information.

It is WINDOWS, that's why is is such a pity that Sub was not a Linux fan when he started developing a computer PVR
