Current status of NextPVR and Kodi 16?

Looking around the forums i see various NextPVR 3.6.6 patches and fixes for use with Kodi 16. I was just wondering if there was any ballpark ETA for a new version before i attempt to upgrade to Kodi 16. While there are a few snags with 15.2 here and there, I'm only upgrading if NextPVR is ready as well.

The next release of NextPVR is probably a two or three weeks away.

There were also some fixes submitted to Kodi about a week ago. Those fixes have been accepted, but I'm not sure if they're included in the mainstream kodi builds yet

Any update when the new version is coming out? I'm hoping it fixes some drop connection / buffering issues when using it for the MrMC app for the AppleTV 4.

No. It's been pushed back at least a couple of weeks, since I'm away for that long on an unexpected work trip.

That would be optimistic, nothing is broken on streaming that needs fixing.

Any pointers to those patches/updates? I'm running Kodi 16.1 rc2 and would like to be on the latest nextpvr.

I've been running Kodi for over 3 years along with NPVR. I've had more problems with 16.x (Jarvis) than all the other builds combined. NPVR season recording and the ability to edit recording settings is broken in Jarvis. The latest release (16.1) has caused a "black screen" (search for it on the Kodi forums) issue for many people. After resuming from "sleep" I have to alt-tab to Windows and then back to Kodi to resolve the issue. A couple of older posters on the forum noted the mass influx of new people posting about problems since the Jarvis release. If your current setup works I wouldn't upgrade. At least wait for the next build (Krypton). I'm in the process of rolling back to Isengard.
