Came back from hols and a week later some of the wifes recordings started failing - I checked live TV and there was nothing there, they were Sat channels that had moved to different transponders.
Would it be possible to have a nightly or weekly "self check" where NPVR cycles through each channel and each tuner with the channel mapped to it to (if idle of course) to see if any data gets delivered and perhaps issue a warning of some sort if no data was delivered.
I know this would not catch a channel that moves onto an existing mapped frequency but for my purposes it would highlight 99% of any lineup changes, tuner issues or antenna/dish issues that occur - or if a channel goes encrypted.
++for WAF
