Demux/Remux Audio to AVI

Okay, here is the question. Is there an easy way to Demux audio from an AVI file, upconvert to 48hz from 44.1hz, and then remux back into the AVI. I don't need to convert the video, just need to tweak the audio. Preferably I'd like a command line solution that I could put into a batch file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Virtual dub can do it. It has a lot of settings that can be configured manually and it is a very powerful program.

Demux in virtualdub.
Upsample in ffmpeggui to 48khz mp2.
Remux in vdub, with Full Stream Processing mode.

Thanks for th tips. Since Sub implemented MP3 encoding for the DIVX/AVIs the problem I was having has temporarily gone away, as it's recording at 32000hz which is good, as I can play that back on my external player, but anything at 44.1 hz I get high pitched audio. So I need either 32000 or 48000 hz. If I run into the problem in the future I may look at VDub.
