When setting up the Hauppauge HVR-2550, NextPVR didn't recognize the FM Radio Tuner.
Please support this card's FM Radio Tuner for both Live FM Radio and Scehduled recording on the FM Radio Tuner.

It should already work with this device's FM tuner. You do need to have the Hauppauge WinTV software installed (or at least the SoftPVR component of it), so that the analog device shows up.

First let me correct my stating my tuner card is a Happauge WinTV-HVR-2255. I have WinTV v8.0.34180 (CD 4.7 with Extend), which is the latest version with the latest drivers. WinTV records two radio shows for me. On live TV, WinTV freezes regulatory, and always when the UAC pop-up is displayed. Next-PVR has not frozen except when the TV recorder stated up while I was watching live TV.

NextPVR v3.7.7 shows my card as a Happauge WinTV-7164. It found 42 ATSC channels for each of the two ATSC tuners, and zero QAM since I'm connected to an antenna. If found my two analog capture ports and one IPTV device. I see no indication of the FM tuner.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro (x64) on a Xeon x5650

It doesn't list a separate FM tuner since this is really just a feature of the analog tuner. ie, go to the Settings->Devices screen, double click the 'Analog' device, then hit the 'Add FM' button.

FYI, I'm fairly sure only one of the two analog tuners is capable of FM though. At least that always used to be the case with earlier versions of the hardware (HVR-2250 etc).

Thank you. I was able to add a FM stations to each of the analog devices. Is it able to scan for FM channels? When I attempted to LiveTV the FM I get the error "Unable to find Capture Device". I tried each of the two analog devices.

I thought those two Analog Capture devices were the two auxiliary inputs (Composite or S-video with Stereo audio RCA inputs). I have a VCR connected to one of those and a LaserDisk player connected to the other one.

If I understood my WinTV-HVR-2555, I believed it had two TV and one FM tuner. Each TV tuner could be Analog, Digital, or Auxiliary at any given time. I could be wrong about that, but I was not able to listen to FM from either of the analog devices. I attempted to listen via the LiveTV menu.

No - it only has fairly basic FM support. You have to manually add the FM stations.

If you want to reproduce this, then zip and attach your logs, I'll take a look.

There is two paths on these devices. Each path has a tuner (which is capable of analog/atsc/qam), and the baseband video connections (svideo/composite). My understanding is that the tuner on one of those two paths is also capable of FM. You can be using both of those paths at the same time (for any of those activities), for a maximum of two things happening at one time.
