After installing the updated ccextractor I thought it would be wise to re-register filters from the start menu.
Even running as administrator the batch file fails to find the filters.

I have now fixed it by adding
Code:
CD /D %~dp0
as the first line of the RegisterFilters.bat file in the NPVR Direcctory. (and then run as administrator)

Shouldn't this be included in the original batch file? The NPVR directory is not normally added to Environmental Variables.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

What does this command do exactly?

The reality is that I haven't had to ask anyone to run this batch file to reregister their filters for years. The installer is pretty reliable at registering the filters. You don't need to reregister them if a filter is updated.

It tells the batch file to run in the folder it resides in - otherwise regserver tries to run in system32 - and can't find the ax files to reregister.

Only reason I ran it was because I had un-registered the CCExtractor filter a few weeks ago to try and stop some hangs that were happening.

Ok, I've added it to the batch file.

/d will change to the drive:\\path instead of staying on the drive the command is executed from.
%0 is the full pathname of the bat file
~dp give the directory path only without the filename of the %0 argument.
