Hello Jorm,

Thank you for the information. I have the icons working...my downfall was the stations.xml file. I did not realize I had to manually add/change the references...a lot of the icons in Satlogo for Canada are a little different than the US. Once I realize that it was clear sailing. However, it is a lot of work to set up. I will post the completed files once I am done for others to use.

Hello Jrockintuitive

I have installed the updated Guide2J, very nice. I like the ability to have the numbers next to the icons. I did a quick test and the update appears to have fixed a number of my problems.

I cannot get the loops of channels to work on the horizontal guide. It works great on the vertical guide. I also note that on the horizontal guide it allows me to go back in time. However, if I then switch to the vertical guide, there are a number of blanks in the guide and if I hit one of these blanks I receive an error message.

Are there any keyboard shortcuts where you refer to movement in the guides by remote control? i.e. page right, day advance etc.

Can one jump to a specific channel using the keyboard or does it only work with the remote control? If I enter the channel number and hit enter on the keyboard it brings up the recording menu for the current channel.

I have not yet run the EPG update, but I will try that later.

Hitting the channel number and enter works for me.

On the wiki site, there is a zip file that contains guide2j.pdb. If you put guide2j.pdb in your plugins directory the gbpvr.exe.log will give me the exact location of the error in the code. However, I can reproduce the bug you mentioned below, I will fix it as soon as I have some time.

Page Down – Ctrl+B
Page Up – Ctrl+G
Page Left – Rewind (Ctrl+Left Arrow)
Page Right – Forward (Ctrl+Left Arrow)
Day Advanced – Skip (Shift+Left Arrow)
Day Back – Replay (Shift+Left Arrow)
Vertical Guides
Page Down – Ctrl+B
Page Up – Ctrl+G
Left/Right – Change Channel
Day Advanced – Skip
Day Back – Replay
All Guide
Change Guides – Ctrl+Y
Change Layout– Ctrl+O, Ctrl+S
Go to time now - F11 (Go button)
Channel number + Enter = Goto Channel

Thank you for the tip. I have put the file in my plugin directory.

I have done some more testing with entering the channel number. It works if I use the numbers above the letters, but it does not work if I enter the channel number in the key pad on the keyboard. I do not receive any error, it just opens the record screen.

Thank you for the keyboard shortcuts. It is interesting, for me the Ctrl+arrow keys move a whole day whereas the Shift+arrow keys move a page right and left.

It is not mentioned but I found that in the horizontal guide the Shift+arrow key changes to new channels...that's Great I was wondering how to change channels!

I have also noticed that in the update my wheel mouse no longer scrolls the guide. It still scrolls the TV Guide and I am quite certain that it worked in the previous version of Guide2J.

Another suggestion I have would be to show the guide I am next to the TV Guide title and to be able to switch between the different guides I have while in Guide2J.

Please note that the above are minor points, I think the Guide2J is great!
