I'm new to nextPVR but not Kodi.
I'm running Kodi 16.1 Jarvis on a Nvidia Shield. Before I installed the pvr client for nextPVR auto refresh was working. I could start a movie and check info on my TV and the hz would be at 24 hz. When I stopped the movie then the TV would show 60 hz. Of course if it was a 30 hz file I was playing then the TV would show 30hz.
After I installed the nextPVR client in Kodi the auto refresh stopped working. No matter what file I play the TV always shows 60 hz now. It would be nice if the auto switching would work with TV. It would make for a smoother picture in 1080i.
As a test I disabled the pvr client and auto refresh started working just fine. So it has to be either the pvr client or the TV front end in Kodi.
Any help would be appreciated in case I missed a setting somewhere.
