Is there a way to update recurring recordings without updating EPG ?

Hello,
The only way I've found to update recurring recordings is to update EPG. This is boring, as it is very long when not recording or viewing TV. Is there another way ? Regards,

Since NextPVR expects guide data to be valid for 24 hours so I am not sure what the issue is. When you create the rule it is also run.
There are command line options for NextPVR -updateepg or -updateepgonly though for testing. Martin

Ok, so there is no way to "only" update recurring recordings. If I'm right, updating recurring recordings is part of the process of updating EPG, I can't take it apart.
I would greatly appreciate a command-line option "-updaterecurringrecordings"... Thank you for your answer. Regards, Roland

Sorry I meant to post the option -recurring it is not something I am used typing.

I can't find the -recurring command-line option in the documentation :

The option is correct but the wiki is not maintained by sub or by very many users for that mater. Feel free to request rights to modify the wiki yourself.
