audio not working, windows 10 x64

I am running windows 10 64 bit, and have installed Nextpvr yesturday, and it scans channels fine and plays video fine, records programmes fine, but audio doesnt seem to work on this, I noticed at first it said audio wouldn't work without the decoders set, so I set the decoders up in the settings, audio didn't work and it flashed this message up once again?, for some unknown reason, so I checked, and sure enough I had set decoders for audio, as well as video. So I restarted nextpvr, to be sure settings were implimented, however audio still doesn't work on this, but playback of a recording is perfect on wmp classic. I currently have klite mega codec pack installed, so decoders arent a problem.neither he-aac , or ac3 track are working on this application, but both are perfect on wmp classic. I have tried setting audio output to both default, and to the speaker output on the motherboard sound, which I use.the dvb-t dongle is a realtek 2832U compatible device from china, and works on other apps, but considering the recorded content is fine, this doesn't seem to be any of the problem.

Get AC3filter. http://www.ac3filter.net/ It is free.

Hmmm, the LAV Audio Decoder would usually be fine for the HE-AAC audio on NZ DVB-T.

If you try playing something other a .ts file (like .mp4), do you get audio in NextPVR?

Sorry I have found the problem was with recording service, which seems to stay resident in background, even when application, and tray icon not running. I actually had to stop this to cfompress log files, then when starting npvr I luckily found an option to start this in the tray application, the npvr worked. Thank you.

After playing for about half an hour I have noticed some other audio problems, audio went very quiet, restarting recording service the audio started quiet again, but then came back to normal, and also a volume controll seem to be missing from this programme, as I can not find one at all.

Did you try setting the audio renderer to Default, the recommended setting.

The NextPVR Recording Service runs continuously. There should be an Stop Recording Service item under NextPVR in the Start Menu. The "compress" item in the right click menu of File Explorer will zip the log files while the Recording Service is running (plus I, and others, can look at logs without installing extra software).

Nextpvr does not include a volume control and relies on the Windows volume control. My remote control changes volume when NextPVR is running and is not running (and I expect that the same is true for most of us). I don't know of any reason why stopping and starting the Recording Service will have any affect on volume.
