PVR recordings imported into NextPVR aren’t shown in KODI

I’m not sure if this is a NextPVR issue or KODI issue so I am posting in both forums.

I am able to successfully import recordings into NextPVR (NextPVR Settings > Recordings > Import Recordings) that were exported from NextPVR on another system (NextPVR Settings > Recordings > Export Recordings). That is, the imported recordings are displayed in both the NextPVR application (Menu > Recordings > Ready Recordings) and the NextPVR web interface (Recordings > All Recordings). The Recordings folder is set to the same folder on both systems.

HOWEVER, the recordings imported into NextPVR are not displayed in KODI 17.0 (Home > TV > Recordings). I am perplexed by this.

Are they .ts files? The streaming API only supports .ts files. If so if you stop and restart Kodi it should reload the recordings it is not dynamic.

Yes, the imported recordings are .ts files - they were recorded using NextPVR (as a backend for KODI).

I have restarted KODI multiple times but the imported recordings are not displayed by KODI.

Do they show in your browser list with

http://localhost:8866/service?method=rec...lter=ready

If not try without the &filter=ready

They do not show in the browser list with http://localhost:8866/service?method=rec...lter=ready - just five recordings that were not imported show.

If I remove "&filter=ready", then a zero-length list is displayed (not even the five recordings that were not imported).

Something about the import is bad. If you upload you npvr.db3 somewhere I can have a look. I am surprised that removing the filter doesn't dump the table.

Never mind.

I found out that the NextPVR recording service did not have permission to access the recording folder - on a NAS drive. I changed the NextPVR recording service logon from "local system" to my own local account which does have permission to access the recording folder.

That was my first thought but you posted that the Recordings folder was the same on both systems.
