OSD Not Showing Up.

I had a Core2Duo machine and have since built a i7-7700 Gen 7 machine.

I moved the database & config files & all recorded programs and scheduled listings are fine.

I watch NextPVR mostly on Kodi & everything works great. The problem is on my machine. I am using ffmpeg as my decoder. If I tune into a channel I get the program just fine. Picture is great. I can pause the show with the space bar..

The problem is I no longer have the osd so I can use the mouse to pause, stop or fast forward the show.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, it's not entirely clear from your post - are you saying you don't get the OSD in NextPVR or in Kodi? If NextPVR, please reproduce the problem, and post the logs so we can take a look.

Some decoders just don't seem to play nice with the OSD. I'm using the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder for MPEG-2 and the CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD13) for H.264. They play nice with the OSD and don't freak out when a forward or back button is pressed.

I'm sorry.. I don't get the OSD in NextPVR.. Kodi is fine on my Nvidia Shield & FireTV.. OSD shows up on both units.

The renderer I'm using is ffmpeg.

I'll post the logs tomorrow. I'm recording with all of my tuners at the moment.

You are right sir. It was at vrm9. I changed it to EVR and I now have the OSD showing up. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
