Hi everyone I posted a thread the other week about not being able to find any channels

https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...nels-found

I am currently using windows 7 x64 and a Realtek 2832u tuner

I have had enough of trying to get this cheap tuner to work

Does anyone have any experience with this one listed

You will find few, if any, complaints in this forum about the performance of Hauppauge devices. I am still using Hauppauge tuners that I bought about twelve years ago. I suggest that you get a PCIe device if that is practical. PCIe devices avoid the small risk that Windows may fail to wake a USB device during a resume.

That's a good device, and works well with NextPVR.

I have had one of these for several months and have no complaints.

I also have one of these with no regrets or complaints.

If you haven't broken it at least once, you're not doing it right.

I also have the Hauppauge quadHD and it works well. The old Hauppauge 45 button remotes work with it too, although they now supply a cheap credit card sized one.

NextPVR functions in exactly the same way for all tuner devices ... NextPVR has no reminder function (as far as I know) but will work as you want with Kodi

I have not used the Quad HD tuner with Win 7 but Hauppauge are good with drivers so I don't expect that there will be a problem ... but I do expect that everyone will drop support for Win 7 and 8 quite soon because 10 was made available free of charge.
