which xmltv uk data source(s)?

When I do an UpdateEPG, for the OTA data NPVR displays a dialog box with a frequency then counts down, then another frequency and count down - it feels like it is doing this for each channel that needs guide data. Is it only getting the guide for the channel it has tuned to? why not get all the data from the one mux. or have I configured it wrong and I am just getting the entire guide multiple times?


BTW I may look into schedules direct - I hadn't realized it had uk data although the OTA may be ok for me.

Most DVB countries only transmit the listings for channels carried that specific frequency, so NextPVR has to be conservative and scan each frequency that has channels. For most people, I'd imagine it using 6 minutes or so to collect the EPG at 3am isn't a big deal.
