Move Recordings

I am trying to move my recordings to a new disk. I went to settings and clicked Export Recordings. Then moved the files to the new drive. Then edited recording-backup.xml, replacing all the drive letters. Then I tried to Import Recordings and it said 0 recordings imported. Did I miss a step? Do I need to clear out the database somehow?

Did AutoRemoveMissingRecordings or NoRemoveWhenTreeMissing trip you up?

Actually, it seems to be working. I was confused since after importing, I tried exporting again. In the newly created file, were references to the old disk:

And even though there is no more E: drive, and I moved the file to the C: drive, the file still plays. I guess NPVR is smart enough to locate it.

NextPVR is smart but not that smart ... it looks for the recording file at the location specified in the database and nowhere else. The database records must be pointing to the true location of the file.
