I am attempting to use an MCE Remote with my Colossus capture card. I can use WinTV8 ok when I "learned" the remote using Blastcfg, but for the life of me I cannot get NPVR to recognize any IR commands. The remote will navigate the NPVR GUI but that is all. When I send a learned key entry through Blastcfg it will accept it on the IR. Please help me understand what I am missing. Two weeks of pulling my hair out. Thanks.

If Blastcfg is configured and working, you should be able to run a command like:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\HaupBlast.exe" 123

This effectively passes channel number 123 to Hauppauge blaster software, and it takes care of the actual blasting. Is that working for you? (it should be if blastcfg is working)

I am not sure how to run that command as you suggest. However, I can confirm that Blastcfg sends “123” when I have NPVR in a window. I have channel changer set to executable.

Start a command prompt, then run these commands:

Code:
c:
cd c:\program files (x86)\npvr
HaupBlast.exe 123

If blastcfg works, then that should also work (since it's effectively telling blastcfg to send channel number 123). If that all works, then you can easily configure NextPVR to use HaupBlast.exe every time you try to watch a channel on your Colossus.

It works fine. So based on that (thank you), I focused on my settings in NPVR and found what I was overlooking - not copying the commands to each channel. Thanks so much! I can stop pulling out my hair.
