win 10 update broke something

I have 2 old Avermedia m791 cards in my windows 10 Pro machine that were working fine until MS updated October 8. Now nextpvr finds them, device manager says the drivers are installed.

Neither of them can find any channels. Channel scan returns a blank page. Cables are good, other devices receive signal. Nothing changed besides the MS update, that I know of.

False alarm!

I removed 1 of the tuners, now the 1 I left in works. I guess it coincidentally failed at the same time as the update. I can see a couple of suspicious capacitors. Must have short circuited the pcie bus.

So much for $5 tuners.
