Best android box to work with NextPVR

OK everyone,
I need to know what android box everyone uses with NextPVR. I recently purchased quite a few of the following boxes and am having problems with them. I think they just are not powerful enough. When I stream NextPVR to them sometimes the video and audio sync up. Other times the video is just not up to speed with the audio being first to the dance so to speak. I have other android boxes that do not give me this problem. I am going back and forth with the MFG to rectify the problem.

The first thing that comes to mind reading your post are about buffering. Are you running wifi? If so, do problems go away running wired?

Next I know you have experienced IPTV difficulties because of transcoding CPU use. No client will be good if your CPU is at 100%

Finally I'd try the Kodi 18 RC1 to see if the new deinterlacing changes help at all.

Assuming those are not the issue and more specific to your post the much more expensive NVidia Shield gets the best reviews ... at a big price of course. Better to start here since it is a very complex answer https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=252916

Thank you for the info.
I am using a wired connection. I have resolved the CPU issue. This was on a different installation though.
I have tried clearing the cache but it does not help.
I will try using Kodi 18 RC1. Speaking of Kodi RC1 I do not see the NextPVR clent within 18. Am I missing something or do I have to load it in it?

Sorry I still run Kodi 17.6 on Android. I assume it is the same as it is for Windows and you need to install binary addons from the repo now.

No not dumb and Kodi has a good wiki and forum so you should have no problem figuring it out.

Could not find the binary add on you spoke of but I think I may have figured out that problem. I did search the forum before and could not find anything. Seems everyone likes RPI.

The RPI is still a diy kit so adding a remote and all the options can make it a bit pricey. Also given the fact that it doesn't do 4k and it has no option for Netflix Amazon Prime Hulu, many of the services that are needed to stream shows no longer on cable it is not really future proof.
