IP Camera input as a channel

Is there a way to have my IP camera input into NextPVR as a channel?

Depend on how it delivers it's content, you might be able to add it as an IPTV channel.

Some cameras do an mpeg2 stream, but most modern ones are rtsp, so you'll probably need something to do a translation on that.

How would I go about imputing into NextPVR? Would I use add channel in devices? If so how should it be worded?

What does the url start with? http or rtsp?

You could try going into the IPTV device, 'Add Channel', give it a name and enter the url. Set the type 'internet sourced IPTV'.
