Big Grin

In v4 I was asking the user if they wanted to update the EPG after changing the channel list. Adding this in v5 is on my to-do list. For now they need to manually hit that button.

arrbee99 Wrote:Thanks. Finally got some channels somehow.

Feature request (unless its there already) - save / record / keep somewhere in app those LOF / Switch settings. If its ever necessary to retune / rescan / reinstall I'm forever savings settings that worked, never finding them again and trying 15 different combinations I get from geekzone or somewhere till I happen on the right combo. Thanks.

Also, when it finds channels, it has boxes for ticking, but the headings at the top of the list has a tick box also, should that be there ? I wasn't brave enough to tick it and see.

Just wondering if the satellite settings I entered are stored anywhere I can read them ? For the reasons mentioned above, I can never remember them and if I remember to take a screenshot of them I can never find that either. Thanks.

They're stored in npvr.db3 file, in the CHANNEL_MAPPING table. You'd need to use a SQLite tool for looking a the data.

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to know of some kind of simple, small, easy to use sqlite tool viewer thingy I could use ?

I mainly use SQLiteSpy. It's pretty easy to use. File->Open, select the .db3, right on the CHANNEL_MAPPING table on the left and choose 'Show Select Statement', then press F9. Click the 'tuning' column, and on the lower right you'll multiple lines of xml.

Found an online viewer.

Is CHANNEL_MAPPING the correct place to check stuff like LOF1, LOF2, symbolrate ?

Yes, generally - a copy is stored per channel in the CHANNEL_MAPPING.tuning column.

DIGITAL_RECORDER and DIGITAL_RECORDER_LNB also have the current settings, that are copied into the channel when a channel is created.
