I was wondering why the pointer doesn't change to a "button press hand" when hovering over buttons. Instead, it changes to an I-bar usually used for text input. As an example, go to Settings->Devices and hover over the up/down priority change arrows or on the garbage can on the Device Channels List page. It also stays an arrow when hovering on a program on the Guide page.

Thanks.

To be honest, I've never even noticed this was a thing. I'd never seen it happen in other web apps - it must be something my brain entirely ignored.

I had a quick look through NextPVR's web app, and the bulk of the buttons already behaved the way your describe. I've found a way to manually add this behaviour on other components that don't represent them selves as normal buttons, like the up/down and trashcan icons.

These aren't buttons in the traditional sense. Looking at what happens with the cursor by default in html, and in other web apps, it's pretty inconsistent - ie, it's not typically applied to everything you can click. It largely seemed to only behave this way for buttons and links, and other things seemed to generally stay as the normal arrow cursor.

That said, I have made it the hand when you're over the tv guide entries.
