nextpvr addon not updating kodi firstaired date or season/episode numbers

The npvr addon is not correctly updating the firstaired date or the episode information on the kodi EPG. The nextpvr program itself has this information and displays it in its gui but that data is not making it into kodi. Im trying to update my own skin to make use of the info and the values are available in kodi but the data is empty from npvr.

I believe I replied to you already. Adding the first aired date is low priority for me without the new flag. It is not a bug but feel free to submit a pull request.

Your response seemed more informative then a response on a decision and i also didnt realize you were the one who might make the change. When i reviewed the cpp files for the addon i saw code that was attempting to update the season and episode numbers but in the kodi data its all 0. So that appeared more like a bug than a conscious omission due to low priority. The firstaired value is also hardcoded to 0 when passed in, but i understand it's not high on the list to do. I just saw another older thread about the hardcoded 0 that appeared it was fixed on the npvr side and now possibly broke.

So i got through everything and have been successfully testing changes to my addon but it appears that npvr program API is actually NOT providing the episode info or the original air date in its response. I swear i read multiple threads that someone stated the program itself was pushing the info to kodi, it was just kodi not making use of it.

The getEpg function is making a call similar to...
/service?method=channel.listings&channel_id=7375&start=1569336456&end=1571323656

However this call is only returning the id, name, description, start, end, and genre data. I think i read that the npvr API wasnt really documented well, but do you maybe have any idea if theres a flag i can send to get more data or possibly another call i can make?

There are several improvements for V5 of the NextPVR API. I added some I could test. I am not sure when this data was added.
