Hi,

I've installed nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64:latest via a docker compose yml file

It seems to be running, it sees my HDHomeRun Quadro

I have/can
- scanned for my 4 tuners
- got the channel listings OK
- watch a channel via channel->selecting channel to watch

What I can't do is update the EPG, I'm trying to use the OTA Freeview listings. What I am getting is "No listing" in the Guide for each channel

Please find a log of me logging in and doing a EPG update

Any help would be great! Thanks David

The nrecord.log has messages like this ...

The bad news ... I have no idea why it's giving that error ... The good news ... The guy that does will be here soon.

My shot in the dark ... Is it a permissions thing on the npvr-data folder?

I initially thought that myself - it was a permission problem somewhere, I exec'd into the container and couldn't see anything obviously wrong with the permissions of anything in there.

Where is the npvr-data folder ? the data folder /app/data seems reasonably

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 178 Apr 2 21:10 appsettings.Development.json
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 228 Apr 2 21:10 appsettings.json
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Sep 15 19:11 data
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 15 19:11 de
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 15 19:11 es

Or should it be different?

Thanks David

Unfortunately the HDHR streams don't include enough data from the broadcast to extract the listings. I've tried to contact SiliconDust about this, but they haven't replied.

Basically you'll have to find an xmltv source for now. (I have an idea how I might work around this limitation, but I'll need to find some time to experiment before I know if it's possible)

If you had been running on Windows, you can use the SiliconDust BDA drivers, and access via the "DVB-T" device type instead of "HDHR" device type, and you'd get listings. This isn't an option with Linux / Docker though.

Thanks for help - I'll keep on trying every now and again
