As you will have noticed, we're now running different forum software. I liked the old vbulletin 4 software, but it was no longer being updated, and starting to become a security liability.  I looked at various options forum software, and opted to go with mybb, which I've found decent on the kodi forums.

I've imported what I could from the old vbulletin site. Its only really the attachments which weren't copied over...the vast majority of those were just logs, so no great loss.

It'll take a little while to get used to the new forum, but it should be able to do most of the same things. Some of the things it does much better than vbulletin.

I've picked a theme that is more mobile-friendly.

Are there any instructions/wiki for using this forum?  specfically trying to figure out how Polls are created.  Tried the button in the message compose area but it does not seem to do anything.

The only documentation provided with forum software can be accessed via the Help button at the top of the page. It's pretty minimal though.

To make a poll, just start with a regular post, filling in a name and brief description, then tick the 'I want to post a poll' checkbox at the bottom of the page, then hit the 'post thread' button, and it'll take you to a second page where it askes for the various answer options you want in your poll.

Hi sub

Am struggling to find a menu bar at the top using the forums.nextpvr.com link on an iPhone. Simply zero menus.
Is there something I need to do to turn it on/access it, I tried to find a myBB app but no luck.

The forum software is a little buggy on a mobile phone. I rarely need the menu, so it doesn’t usually hinder me. On my phone i can get to the menu by turning my phone to landscape, and clicking my (partially obscured) profile pick on the right.

Hmm. Tried the landscape mode ... not sure where I am supposed to see those..

Sorry - I can't help with you that one. I have very little control over how the forum software operates on mobile.

A few of things you possibly try:
- just create manually enter the couple of urls you'd like to visit, and create bookmarks for them. (ie inbox: https://forums.nextpvr.com/private.php?fid=0)
- put your finger down on that 'NextPVR Forums' header area and try dragging to the left, to see if the profile/menu appear on the right.
- or on your PC, go to User CP -> Edit Options, and change the 'board style' to 'default'

If those don't work, then you're probably out of luck.
