EPG update not pulling in everything

EPG update not pulling in everything

When I do an EPG update with v5 I'm not getting all the programs back.

For example, I ran an update now and after 6 minutes it shows the message: EPG Update complete. [320 inserted, 0 updated, 77 skipped]

When I look in my guide it shows programs up to 5am tomorrow morning, a few channels have more shows until 5pm and 1 even goes a week out.

Is there a setting that set how many days to grab? Or maybe it times out before getting much?

Also, it's supposed to update a 3am, but it doesn't seem to trigger, is this not working yet?

I'll probably need to see the logs. Are using DVB or ATSC?

Yes, that should work. If you can post your logs, I'll check what happened at this time.

It is normal on ATSC to only get limited data. Since you are in Canada too, I don't get any data for many channels, 12 hours for a few, and only CBC, RC have a week.

Yeah, unfortunately that's normal. The over-the-air EPG data in North America is crappy.

Most people in that part of the world switch to using Schedules Direct, which gives multiple weeks of listings, artwork, season/episode info etc.
