Kodi Genre map small bug

Small issue carried over from version 4.
<genre name="Drama" type="16" subtype="8"/> should be <genre name="Drama" type="16" subtype="0"/>
as subtype 8 is adult movie in the xbmc-genre-translation.xml

Not a bug. An adult movie or drama does not mean porn. A children's movie doesn't mean anything evil.

I suppose it depends where your from.
An "adult movie" in the UK is porn

'adult movie/drama' was the text they used in the DVB spec. I just read it as a movie intended for adults, rather than children.

Hi again sorry for the late reply.
In this case the shows are being broadcast with the "Drama" genre:
<genre name="Drama" type="240" subtype="0"/>
And are displayed in nextpvr as "Drama".

But are being changed to "Adult drama / Movie" when sent to kodi (taken from the xbmc-genre-translation file).

Shouldn't this be
<genre name="Drama" type="240" subtype="0"/>

to keep parity?

There is a problem in the genre table Drama is in there twice 240 0 is not defined by Kodi so that is a problem. It probably should be 16 0

I Matrix I show multiple genres which makes this much clearer.

240 0 seems to work in kodi for me.
I edited the epg12.db (kodi epg database) and changed a few broadcasts from 16 8 to 240 0 and it comes up with "Drama" in Kodi (so I assume its defined?)

sub can remove the 16 8 one for the next build

I will check the other user defined values.

The issue with using this category is the Kodi colour is not defined.
