I noticed this today, because all of my channels have names like "KCDODT7" and "KCNCDT2" and I wanted to change them to be human readable (e.g. KUSADT -> NBC [KUSADT]).

I changed the name under Settings -> Channels, and the channel was there in the TV Guide with all guide data, and the right name, but the icon was the one for a broken image link. Changing the channel name back restored the icon; checking the URL of the image showed it to be the same regardless of the name of the Channel (e.g. http://127.0.0.1/services/service?method...el_id=7159 ).

Take a look in c:\users\public\NPVR-data\media\shows. It looks for icon files with the same name as the channel.

NextPVR changes the friendly HDHR names to ugly Schedules Direct names, you may need to click the download icons again to get the properly named files.

Linux user here, c:\users\public\NPVR-data\media\shows isn't for me :-D. But you led me to the right place: /var/opt/nextpvr/media/channels (btw "channels" not "shows") contains all the channel icons, named after callsigns (e.g. "KUSADT.png"). Renaming them here accomplishes what I wanted.

Thanks!

Martin, I tried re-downoading first, but that didn't get anywhere, unfortunately.
