Error on Install

Hi.  On my laptop PC, I get an error when trying to re-install NPVRSetup.exe.  A screenshot of the error is attached, and this is after a fresh reboot of the system.  If I click OK, the installation continues apparently successfully, but after opening NPVR in my browser and clicking on Settings and then choosing any of the menu options on the left, the main screen stays black.  I cannot display About, General, Devices, etc.  They all stay completely black.  I haven't attached any log files, because I can't find them, and cannot create them, not being able to get to the 'About' screen.  If you can tell me how else to find or create them, I'll gladly send them of course.  I suspect one or more of the files from my previous install may need to be deleted and recreated, but I'm not sure which.  Can you tell from the error message?

Thanks, Martin, but that didn't fix it.  I forced the download of a fresh copy of NPVRSetup.exe and ran it, and this time there was no error message.  However, the end result was the same - I still cannot see anything on any of the Settings screens - About, General, Devices, etc. are still all black with no screen content.

Another screen shot is attached to illustrate the problem.  Curiously, the TV Guide, Recordings, Scheduler, etc. screens all still work fine from my previous installation.  It's only the Settings screens which do not.

Press Ctrl-F5 on any of the screens that aren't displaying properly.
