I presume it has to do with the latest release of NextPvr server, since there hadn't been an iOS upgrade in quite some time.  The iOS app no longer reports properly the Settings, "Click here to see current tuner activity" anymore, although via a browser app reports correctly.  The iOS app always reports idle even when actively recording. Not that long ago it worked fine.

What version server are you running? I just tried it here on my phone against the current v5 server, and it's correctly listing the current recording that is happening.

Was running 5_0_4_200428, now running 5_0_5_200518.  Did/does the same with both versions. During an ongoing recording the iOS client app looks like the former and the iOS browser looks like the latter.

Odd. I think when I tried it I was using a digital tuner. I'll recheck with IPTV source.
