Disable Recording Folders and XML meta data?

Is there a way to disable the XML meta data for recordings, and to have all recordings in one folder instead of being filed to individual folders?

For example, all .TS recordings in one destination folder, no subfolders, no XML files. All I need are the video recordings.

For one folder edit config.xml to use

<AutoCreateFolders>false</AutoCreateFolders>

The xml files don't hurt anything or take significant space so if sub adds something I hope it is on the bottom of his list of priorities. If you truly hate them delete them as part of post processing.

Thanks I thought that was only used when ADS data was available in v4 so I didn't mention it.

No, it's used in v5 as well. It's 'true' in a default install.

I found those two settings in the config.xml file shortly after I posted my question. Thank you for confirming they do what I expected!
