Hello,

Still fighting with Version 5 :-)

I am trying to add Xtream Editor EPG data to my IPTV tuner in Version 5. The tuner took the m3u data link and now lists the channels, however when I enter the link for the epg data, and try to map channels, nothing shows up in the epg data list.

The epg link looks like this: https://xtream-editor.com/en/get/epg/987...GH345098TH (not my actual link)

I refer to this thread: https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=59685 and was wondering if indeed, the fix has been included in whatever release of version 5 is current? The thread linked inside of this link doesn't exist. So...is there any way to get the Xtream epg data to work with Version 5?

Thank you,
Mark

It shouldn't be return JSON to an XML request. Does the EPG URL you provide to NextPVR open an XMLTV listing in your browser? If so you you will like need to PM sub with a link.

It tries to open the following: guide.xml.gz

Should I send the link to sub?

Thanks,

That does seem related to the other problem that sub fixed a year ago. https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid518077

Yes as I posted PM sub (the author) he is the only one who can fix these internal issues.

Martin.

Thank you! Sent it to him. Hope he has a chance to look at it.

While you wait for sub you can always download the guide manually or via a script and use an external file.

Someone else had a similar issue in the last couple of weeks, and I made a fix at that time, but I don't think there has been a release since then.

I just tried the URL you sent me via PM. I confirmed it worked for me for:
1) importing channels, and specifying that https://xtream-editor.com/ url for the EPG
2) editing an existing channel, to use https://xtream-editor.com/ url for the EPG as the lineup.

So...should be fixed for you in the next release.

Any idea when the next release might be out?
