Internal server error

Greetings, I just learned about NPVR and it looks very exciting to me. Unfortunately, after scanning the channels on my HDHomeRun Extend, when I click on a channel I get this error message:

Error starting transcode: error: Internal Server Error

I have installed 64 bit ffmpeg (from lame.buanzo.org) but when I open Activity Monitor it does not appear on the list of running apps. Does ffmpeg need to be manually attached to NPVR in some way? Or does it need to be launched from terminal?

I'm using FireFox for my browser.

Use the 'log files' button to collect the log zip file, and post it.

If your run "ffmpeg" from the terminal, does it find it in the path on your machine?

OK, I sorted it out. I had to manually copy ffmpeg to /usr/local/bin (OS X Catalina) and now it's working.

Is there any chance I could get some help with this? 

I compiled a arm64 version of FFMPEG and copied it to /usr/local/bin but get a Streaming Failed (transcoder exited) error instead of the previous alert. 

I have attached my logs if that helps. Many thanks ?

A few things

- I am not sure how you downloaded NextPVR but you didn't install the release version.

- did you install hdhr_config required for legacy HDHR devices https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/hdhomerun_config

- I see you were trying the UI client, NextPVR may not support it on Apple Silicon, sub would need to confirm.
