Can't Name Recording Using Desktop App

I keep forgetting to bring this up but for a long time now I have not been able to enter a recording name when setting up a manual recording with the desktop app.

Can this be corrected?

I just tried this now, and it worked fine. What exactly happens when you try it there?

I was watching a channel that was never matched to a SchedulesDirect channel so the guide only shows "(no show details)." This is on purpose since I'm using the HDPVR for certain channels. I then pressed ctrl-k to start a recording. This brought up the manual recording screen on top of the playing channel. I could not change the recording name.

Happens every time.

Manually scheduling recordings from the menu, not while watching, works perfectly. (I hope I said that right.)

Ok - that's a much better description of the problem than you originally supplied, and changes what I need to look at. I'll check it out.

I've found the cause of this, and fixed for the next release.
