Are you using linux or Windows? 2.13.0.0 I recently installed an HDHomerun tuner connected to NextPVR in the UK and can confirm that Radio channels are not recognised automatically, at least for me. I have NextPVR deployed in a docker container Thanks for the SQL script though, a slightly modified version version fixed it. Paul

@Sibiu does the config info from the HDHR IP http://ip/lineup.json?tuning also show a VideoCodec on the audio channels?

Yes when downloading the JSON file directly it shows that there is a VideoCodec, however there is nothing in that stream, not even a logo when played in Kodi or VLC. TVHeadend correctly identifies the channels as Radio
Partial JSON is below. Paul Code: { 2.13.0.0 2.13.0.0

That's the problem. SD shouldn't be sending a video codec on audio. I expect TVHeaded is not using the HDHR mode. Do you have another mode called DVB-T in NextPVR that should actually scan the channels instead of using this HDHR mode?

I reached out to a developer for the Kodi HDHomerun app and his findings were the same, a scanning mode is necessary. He even addressed this incorrect API to SiliconDust but they aren't interested in fixing their server, their focus is on TV.
If you want a simple solution I suggest that you guys contact Silicon Dust to fix their API. Martin |
